Bethel Assembly
In a brief
Bethel Assembly Oshawa is a parish of the Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG), one of the largest and fastest growing Pentecostal churches in the world. RCCG started in 1952 with just 12 members but has today grown into a mega church with parishes spread across the five continents of the world and having Pastor E.A Adeboye as the General Overseer. RCCG Bethel Assembly
is a family Church located in the city of Oshawa and empowered by God to bring the gospel of Jesus to all mankind. God has started something new in our midst and whether you are looking for a home church, you want to grow in your relationship with God or you desire specific life-transforming experience, we invite you to come and experience the presence and power of the God of Bethel.
Mission
Bringing good news to Oshawa, influencing the surrounding communities
RCCG Bethel Assembly Oshawa mandate is simple and it includes; to make Heaven and take as many people as we can bring along the way, to be the healing body of Christ where the hurting, depressed, the frustrated, the lost, and the confused can find acceptance, love, help, hope and forgiveness from God, to help people attain their God-given dreams and walk in the full potentials of their divine destinies, to encourage, promote and liberate believers in Oshawa and its environs through the preaching of the word of holiness, faith, and healing in our Christ Jesus.
Values
As believers-in-Christ
We value the pursuit of God. We thirst for His presence and to know more of Him through private and public worship, the Word and prayer. We value Christlikeness. We want to be like the Lord and savior in all conduct. We want to minister by serving people the way He did with compassion, under the power and anointing of the Holy Spirit. We shall convey the love, mercy and power of God through the ministry of the church.
Our Beliefs
Statement of faith
The Deity of Jesus Christ, in His virgin birth, in His sinless life, teachings, crucifixion, resurrection, ascension, and coming return to this earth in power and glory to rule. That Man was created in the image of God before whom he walked in innocence, holiness and purity, but by voluntary disobedience and transgression, he fell to the depths of sin. Therefore, the only means of being cleansed from sin is through repentance and faith in the finished work at Calvary.
